Hands of Praise

Celebrate Recovery
Purpose of Celebrate Recovery: to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-centered 12 steps.

You don’t need to be a recovering addict to join…just a sinner who is ready to follow a new path.  This is a ministry for life’s daily hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  Celebrate Recovery is a safe place where men and women can share their struggles, strengths, hurts, and hopes with others in a Christ-centered recovery process, overcoming addictive behavior through community, Scripture, and worship.  This is a program for anyone struggling with past or current dysfunctions or compulsions, whether they are affecting their own life or the lives of those around them.

This experience allows us to be changed.  We open the door by sharing our experiences, victories, and hopes with one another as well as learning to accept God’s grace in our lives.

Connection Groups (Small Groups)
A Connection Group is a group of 10 to 12 people that get together for the purpose of:

·         Deepening in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word

·         Connecting with one another

·         Reaching out to others

We have a diverse makeup of groups, so there is a group for you no matter where you are in life.
Men's Ministry
This ministry strives to make every man a disciple, and show that real men do go to church and follow Jesus.  We have a lot of fun doing this with such activities as the Youth Turkey Hunt and Wild Game Feast.

OCC has an active short-term missions team who take 1 to 2 week mission trips to various locations.  These trips are designed to help those who are permanently serving on the mission field while bringing the mission team closer to God.
